1. Please decide if you would like to be on the vote exchange side or no vote exchange side.
If you choose the vote exchange side (VE), this means that you are able to take part in vote exchanges and vote requests. You are allowed to join any and all vote exchange boards that promote 'no blind voting'.

If you choose the NO vote exchange side (NVE), this means that you are NOT able to take part in vote exchanges or vote exchange boards. You can REQUEST votes, but only on approved lists (see Rules) or from friends, family and visitors to your site. You also may not be vote exchanging for any other competition with the site you are joining The Rumbles NVE with.

If you are new to the competition world, it may be best to join the NVE side first until things become a little clearer. However, whichever side you choose, we have a strict policy of no spamming in The Rumbles. This means that if someone asks you to stop sending them emails with your vote url, then you must adhere to their request within 24 hours.

2. Site must be Family Friendly
Your site must be family friendly. This means that there should be no 'adult' concepts or ideas. If you have any question about whether your site is family friendly or not, please still join up. We will let you know if your site will be okay in The Rumbles.

3. Be Polite
The Rumbles is a place to have some fun and meet some great people. We will not tolerate any rudeness towards any rumblers or staff members. If you become upset about something, please wait a bit to write first and make sure that you are not being rude.

4. Linking
At all times while competing with us, you must have a link to either the main Rumbles page or (preferably, for your sake) where you are competing that week. If you do not have a link, we will assume that you no longer want to rumble with us, and will take you off of our rosters.

5. Voting
You are also required to vote for yourself at least three days out of the four that we are open. This is to make sure that you are still an active rumbler, and also because you are your own best supporter. If you don't think you deserve a vote each day, why should anyone else?

6. Viewability
Your site *must* be viewable in the major browsers. These include Internet Explorer, Netscape and Firefox, among others. If it is not viewable, please go back to your page and fix it up before applying.

7. Completing this Form
By reading through these guidelines, and filling out the form below, this does not automatically guarantee you a place in The Rumbles - your site *will* be checked over first and you will be contacted as soon as possible.
